Gonna getcha!

[2007-01-14] @ [9:21 p.m.]

I feel like I've been uprooted and transplanted into a very small, compact planting pot full of new soil to keep me alive and kicking.

I came back to school around three this afternoon and after unpacking everything and putting everything in its place. I sat back on my squeaky, little dorm room bed. I thought. I realized. I realized how surreal everything felt.

I mean after being at home for roughly a month without and classes and briefly working part time, things do indeed feel different. I'm sure I'll adjust to the new schedule and rhythm of things within a week or a few days. It is just the transition of things that is difficult, as it is true for me in most respects.

Yet with everything in its place, what else is there to do except prepare for the coming tomorrow? Like going to bed early tonight because I have a class at a lovely time tomorrow, an eight am class. Lovely, ain't it?

Hm. Anyways, it seems that I don't have a lot to talk about except that I am back at school. One of my classes was dropped due to low enrollment so I have to return the book I got for the class tomorrow after the eight in the morning class. I also got to go to Target and Starbucks tonight with Maggie to pick up a few stray things. It isn't exciting but it is worth noting.

I suppose another thing worth noting is that I've grown a bit more creative as of late with things. Writing, creating web pages, graphic design, and even sketching. Makes me kind of glad that I brought my sketchbook (one I've had for a many number of years) and which I am determined to fill by the end of the month. Even though I think I am horrible at sketching, I love it. It is very relaxing.

I guess another note of interest is that I caved and updated to Firefox 2.0 and needless to say I love it because it kept all my bookmarks and is basically the same.

Okay. I'm off. Might as well enjoy the last of my freedom and be angry with my crappy internet connection at school.

Till, then. Cheers.

So, quick thanks for the image from confusedvision, under the Creative Commons License 2.0. The inspiration came from Lacuna Coil, an awesome gothic metal band from Italy. This place on the web is fueled by diaryland, firefox, psp 9, caffeine in any form, books, slavic literature, and random bursts of ideas. With the exception of the image and lyrics, the design and code involved is mine. Graize.
