Here's to you.

[2005-09-19] @ [10:06 p.m.]

I am not very good at describing how I feel.

I loved my AP English teacher from last year and yesterday, I was hesitant at first to believe it when I read it on someone's livejournal about her. That's how I deal with grief, through denial in the beginning then I accepted it. I cried yes but all I need was confirmation.

And I got it.

Here to you:

beloved teacher of English and life

Remember the good times, no matter how short they are.

We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

-Alfred, Lord Tennyson
From the poem "Ulysses" Lines 66-70

So, quick thanks for the image from confusedvision, under the Creative Commons License 2.0. The inspiration came from Lacuna Coil, an awesome gothic metal band from Italy. This place on the web is fueled by diaryland, firefox, psp 9, caffeine in any form, books, slavic literature, and random bursts of ideas. With the exception of the image and lyrics, the design and code involved is mine. Graize.
